Sparx automatically talks to your school's Management Information System (MIS) in order to make setting up and maintaining student and class lists easy. Common MIS are Arbor, Bromcom and SIMS.
To access the import page:
Select Management -> Class Manager
Click the Import and Manage Classes button in the top right
To import classes and students
1. Select classes from your MIS in the left hand panel and click the arrow button
2. Click "Preview changes" to confirm your selection and start the import
3. Check that the changes are correct before confirming by clicking "Sync changes"
Students can only be in one class in Sparx Science. Where a student is in multiple classes (for example 1 biology, 1 chemistry and 1 physics) you should import one of these. You can then assign homework across all three subjects each week if you wish.
