Change the topics in an upcoming homework
Topics are automatically added to a student’s homework each week based on the Scheme of Learning that is being followed. Sometimes it might be necessary to move topics to later weeks or even remove them altogether from homework. To do this, go to the Planner page icon on the left of the screen.
Select the correct class using the drop-down at the top of the screen.
The right-hand side of the Planner page gives an overview of all of the homework in each week of the current academic year.
The centre of the screen shows details about the homework for the selected week. This is where you can add topics and edit the topics included in homework for different weeks.
To add a topic to a selected week:
Click on the particular week containing the upcoming homework that you would like to amend from the list in the right-hand pane
Click Add Topic to Week 5, 6, etc.
You can then search and choose from a list of available topics
To remove a topic from a selected week:
Click on the particular week containing the upcoming homework that you would like to amend from the list in the right-hand pane
Click Remove from week for the topic you would like to remove
Changing the hand-out or hand-in for an upcoming homework
To change the hand-out or hand-in for the upcoming homework:
Click on the Planner on the left of the screen
Select the class whose homework you wish to edit from the filters at the top of the screen
Choose the week you wish to edit.
Click on the Hand-out and Hand-in dates to bring up a calendar where you can edit the dates and times accordingly
Click Set date and time when you are done
Note: You are able to edit the hand-in time for homework that has already been set by following the same steps.
